I can't tell you the details yet, but Wikidot API will soon become even more accessible, especially from JavaScript applications.

Okay, new site created, same URL (but you'll need to re-watch): http://editor.wikidot.com

I'm going to actively start working on it in my spare time. Don't expect any major progress any time soon, but the main thing I want to do is to simplify editor.wikidot.com so that it's essentially just a forum + download page. Perhaps also a page for uploading screen shots.

I don't know Javascript, and am more comfortable with using application programming languages instead of web programming lanauges, so that's why I'm going this way with this…

Shane, have you made improvements to the Editor?

Gabrys, I believe that Michal has once created a WYSIWYG editor for Wikidot. Maybe if this was released, a JS version could be more easily created…

No. I mean a Javascript based Editor which allows preview. And when API works, I can also make it that when the user has connectivity, the page will automatically be updated.

What do you mean by that? Connectivity between the offline app and Wikidot.com ?
